More Than an Event

What You'll Get Out of It

01

Real Role Models

Students don’t just hear about industrial careers — they meet the women who built them. Every leader at the forum is working in the field, right here in the New Orleans region.

02

Honest Conversation

The forum is designed for real dialogue — not presentations. Students sit with industry mentors, ask the questions they actually want answered, and leave with a clearer picture of what a career in industry looks like.

03

A Path Forward

From skilled crafts to engineering, safety, and operations — the forum opens doors to career pathways students may never have known existed, and connects them to the people who can help them get there.

ABOUT THE EVENT

A Space Built for the Next Generation

The Women in Industry Forum connects female industry leaders from across the Greater New Orleans region with high school junior and senior women who are exploring STEM and industrial career pathways. Through hands-on activities, panel discussions, and one-on-one mentor conversations, students get direct access to the women who are already doing the work — from skilled crafts and operations to engineering, safety, and leadership. The goal is simple: build confidence, answer real questions, and help students envision themselves in careers they may never have considered.
